A Typewriter Orchestra

I’ve never seen anybody play the typewriter as a musical instrument before, but I’ve got to admit that it sounds pretty good with the backing of a full orchestra. It turns out that in 1950 composer Leroy Anderson wrote this piece specifically for a typewriter. Here’s more details about the story behind this entertaining performance.

I remember seeing Jerry Lewis do this piece some time ago on TV. It was a little more comical than this version, as you can imagine!
