Hi dear i agree with ur advise its very helpful, but we have so many kind of loneless.
And like if someone is in a situation all families have reject you nobody care if you are still alive. Even parents dont want you,Husband change his way and Childrens start give you distance asual, and you find urself alone in a strange country Then i think its really really so hard to show there is somethings can make you happy. This is my own experiance if someone heart is not happy,if someone heart is crying then nothing can make this persone smile. If you have a solution for this kind of problem i would be apreciate if you tell me thanks and bye.

I think this poem speaks to all types of lonely. If you are in a situation where you “your heart is bleeding, make the best of it” like she says in the poem. Use that pain and those feelings to really dig deep into yourself and find what makes you happy. If you say that someones heart is crying, I don’t agree that nothing can make them happy, I just believe that they have to find what makes them happy. When you spend time with yourself you can really get to know yourself and love yourself. Spend time with yourself can help you to out what makes your heart happy, not what makes everyone around you happy. The poem is saying that you are a wonderful person alone, aside from what others think and aside from the company you are in or not in. If you find that your family doesn’t care about you, screw them. What matters is that you care about yourself. If your husband starts to change his ways, take time apart and nurture yourself instead. If you find yourself in a strange country, explore. Like the poem says, if you have an art that you enjoy, maybe music, dance, photography, practice it. It will indeed make you feel good. And if you don’t have one perhaps pic one up. I know this is all easier said than done but I just wanted to stress that even if you heart is not happy. There are always things that will make it happy and eventually help to mend it. Good luck.

I loved “How To Be Alone” because I can understand it. That’s not an easy thing to do with me & poetry.
I truly liked the optimistic message it held.
And it really is a poem, not a song. There is a difference.
The music & video were poetically good because they enhanced the poem.
Overall, I give it my not so lonely thumbs up.
