Back in 1990, the Los Angeles Times ran a story about singer George Michael’s plans to do no interviews, music videos, or touring to support his new album in an effort to get out of the limelight. Apparently, Frank Sinatra read the article and fired off the above letter to the Times criticizing Michael’s career choices. (via Letters of Note)

Doesn’t really sound like Frank Sinatra to me…. Saint Swithin? Anyone who actually knows what this day is, also knows it’s Saint Swithun’s Day. Gossamer wings? Frank wasn’t a poet, he was a singer.
I don’t buy it.
